Saint Peregrin Hermitage

There is a farm in the woods of Poinson called Saint-Pérégrin. It was a famous hermitage, the origin of which is not known.

Ecclesiastical history mentions a saint named Peregrine, first bishop of Auxerre, sent to Gaul by Pope Sixtus II, around the year 258.

It is not probable that the hermitage dates back to this time, but we were able to dedicate it to this saint.

Here is what has been said about the formation of this establishment.
